Hubline Berhad is a public limited company, incorporated and domiciled in Malaysia and listed on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad.
Hubline Berhad (collectively known as the “Group”) is an investment holding company in two distinct business segments, namely:

Dry bulk shipping logistics services; and
-
Flying academy aviation school and general aviation services.
The Group has been in the dry bulk shipping business since Year 2007 and provides barge logistics services of between 8,000 metric tonnes to 10,000 metric tonnes of dry bulk cargo per shipment.
At the time of writing, the Group has a fleet of twenty-three sets of tugs and barges that geographically operates within the South East Asian region, plying the trading routes of amongst others, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam.
Cargo for each voyage for each set of tug and barge varies, but mostly includes bulk-based commodities such as coal, gypsum, palm kernel shells, feldspar, scrap metal and sand.
The Group is also involved in Flying Academy and General Aviation Services since 2018 after acquiring Layang Layang Aerospace Sdn Bhd, which was established in April 1994, and has grown to become one of the largest general aviation companies in Malaysia operating six units of helicopters and nine units of fixed wing aircrafts covering predominantly Sabah and Sarawak, and including but not limited to Kedah, Langkawi, Penang and Perak. The principle activities are aircraft chartering, emergency medical services, flying doctor services, aerial sightseeing, surveys, mapping and photography, and transportation of passenger and cargo.

Layang Layang Aerospace Sdn Bhd owns 80% of Layang Layang Flying Academy Sdn Bhd. The principle activities are fixed wing pilot and helicopter pilot flight training programs which aim to prepare cadets for both private pilot and commercial pilot licenses.
Layang Layang Flying Academy Sdn Bhd is an approved training organisation as certified by the Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia (“CAAM”).
